Transit of Russian oil to Europe via Ukraine grows by 34% in Nov

KIEV, Dec 5 (PRIME) -- Russian oil transit to European countries through Ukraine went up by 33.6% on the year to 1.329 million tonnes in November, Ukrainian company UkrTransNafta said in a statement on Thursday.

“The oil pumping volume to consumers in Ukraine increased by 10.5% in November as compared with the same year ago period to 206,800 tonnes. Also this November transit of Russian oil to the European countries stood at 1.329 million tonnes, which is a 33.6% increase as compared with the same month of 2018,” the company said.

In January–November, combined pumping of oil to the Ukrainian and European consumers by UkrTransNafta went up 0.8% to 14.142 million tonnes, the company said.
